Anti-Vaccine Propaganda About COVID Vaccines for Children
A lot of the propaganda scaring parents away from vaccinating and protecting their kids originates with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr...
Have you seen the latest propaganda that is being laundered through the sites of anti-vaccine influencers?
Sherri Tenpenny is going so far as to call it an “occult practice” to vaccinate and protect your kids now!
Liz Churchill says it is murder to vaccinate young children and protect them against COVID!
And Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, not surprisingly, says COVID shots don’t even work and aren’t safe for young children.
Also not surprising, it is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr’s organization that is pushing the propaganda that kids are getting unlicensed COVID vaccines.
What’s the full story?
As they have been throughout the pandemic, COVID vaccines for children have been authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
“The EUA process for a vaccine is similar to the BLA, or full approval, process in most ways.”
Emergency Use Authorization Vs. Full FDA Approval: What’s the Difference?
The EUA process ensures that they are safe and effective.
Updated COVID Vaccines for Children
Do you want to protect your kids against COVID?
For best protection against COVID and long COVID, including the latest circulating strains:
Unvaccinated children 6 months through 4 years of age should receive three doses of the updated, authorized Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine or two doses of the updated, authorized Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine.
Children 6 months through 4 years of age who have previously been vaccinated against COVID-19 should receive one or two doses of the updated, authorized Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines, depending on how many doses they received before.
Children 5 years through 11 years of age should receive a single dose of the updated, authorized Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines; if previously vaccinated, the dose is administered at least 2 months after the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.
Children 12 years of age and older should receive a single dose of the updated, approved Comirnaty or the updated, approved Spikevax; if previously vaccinated, the dose is administered at least 2 months since the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.
And don’t listen to anti-vaccine propaganda that might scare you away from vaccinating and protecting your kids.
“Many parents also question whether the vaccines are even necessary for young children. They claim, mistakenly, that children do not get sick with COVID-19, when in fact children make up a rising portion of new cases. While many children may get by with only mild symptoms, many do not. Some have become very sick, some have been intubated and some have developed complications like the multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), which actually means that COVID-19 poses a greater risk of heart inflammation than does the vaccine. And, unfortunately, hundreds of children have died of COVID-19.”
Why it's important to vaccinate children against COVID
These COVID vaccines have been shown to be safe, effective, and necessary, with few side effects.
