Is the Texas Measles Outbreak Slowing Down?
Bobby Kennedy says that new cases have flattened in the past month...
Unbelievably, Bobby Kennedy went to the funeral of the second child who died with measles in Texas.
It’s unbelievable, simply because it is the kind of misinformation and propaganda that Bobby Kennedy has long spread that has likely scared many parents away from vaccinating and protecting their kids.
Is the Texas Measles Outbreak Slowing Down?
Misinformation and propaganda that helped create these measles outbreaks.
“When RFK Jr. attends the funeral of yet another child who has died from measles unnecessarily, he should apologize to the family. Apologize for his inaction. Apologize for his continual spread of misinformation about the disease and the vaccine. Apologize for his failure to strongly support the importance of vaccinating children during an epidemic. And apologize for cutting funds for immunization clinics in areas with low vaccination rates. The frankly dismissive mantra of “thoughts and prayers” doesn’t cut it here.”
Another Child Dies from Measles
And now, Kennedy is doubling down with the misinformation, stating that the outbreak is under control, and that “the growth rates for new cases and hospitalizations have flattened.”
Of course, that’s not true.
Far from any kind of flattening, as Bobby Kennedy stated, in the past month, we have instead seen:
measles cases increase by more than three hundred percent!
hospitalizations more than double!
deaths in unvaccinated children double!
I guess recommending that people take vitamin A and budesonide hasn’t been working, has it?
And Kennedy still hasn’t given a strong recommendation for everyone to get vaccinated and protected to help stop the outbreak!

The MMR vaccine is the only way to prevent the spread of measles, and it would be nice, as Secretary of HHS, if Bobby Kennedy would actually tell people to get vaccinated and protected.
“With its measles outbreak spreading to two additional states, Texas is on track to becoming the cause of a national epidemic if it doesn’t start vaccinating more people, according to public health experts.”

Hopefully we don’t have to wait for another child to die to get a better response from Secretary Kennedy.
