Vaccine Misinformation is Now Coming from Inside the House

If you are a fan of horror movies, you know that one of the scariest plot lines is when the victim is getting threatening phone calls that are traced to someone from inside their own home.
After all, your own home is supposed to be a safe place.

In case you haven’t noticed yet, that’s what is happening to all of us now.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is spouting misinformation and propaganda about vaccines as Secretary of HHS.
"People get measles because they don't vaccinate," Kennedy said Tuesday during a press conference. "They get measles because the vaccine wanes. The vaccines wane about 4.8% per year ... So, you know, it's a leaky vaccine, and that problem is always going to be around."

The only difference is that he is no stranger to us.
We knew this was coming.
Kennedy has been talking about the MMR being a leaky vaccine for some time, and even blamed the MMR vaccine for the measles epidemic in Samoa.
And he has long pushed the idea that vaccines are associated with autism.
Of course, all of his ideas are easily refuted.
They are basically anti-vaccine talking points.
What’s dangerous now, though, it isn’t only his followers that will be hurt by his ideas.
As he interferes with vaccine policy, the response to infectious disease outbreaks, and research, we will all be hurt as Kennedy promotes his anti-vaccine agenda.
