Was a Medical Board Ruling Against David Geier Reversed?
Secretary RFK Jr owes Sen. Maggie Hassan an apology for saying she was being dishonest about David Geier being charged with practicing medicine without a license.
Why do some people think that a medical board ruling against David Geier was reversed?

The usual suspects…
Was a Medical Board Ruling Against David Geier Reversed?
In this case, Secretary RFK Jr lied to Sen. Maggie Hassan during a Senate hearing and upon being asked about why he had hired David Geier at HHS.
“You may or may not know that David Geier sued the Medical Board. That finding was reversed by a court and he was awarded five million dollars.”
Secretary RFK Jr
Of course, what Secretary RFK Jr said to Sen. Maggie Hassan during his Senate testimony wasn’t true.
David Geier was charged with practicing medicine without a license In Maryland in 2011.
This charge was never reversed.
So what is Secretary RFK Jr talking about?
Well, it turns out that Mark Geier, David’s father, did in fact win a lawsuit against the Maryland Medical Board.
You might remember that the pair had come up with the dangerous idea that they should treat autistic children with Lupron to chemically castrate them. This would supposedly allow mercury in their brains to more easily bind to chelation therapies they were then given.
An idea that led to Mark Geier losing his medical license and David Geier being charged for practicing medicine without a license.
But Mark Geier’s lawsuit wasn’t about losing his license or David Geier’s charge of practicing medicine without a license.
“The Maryland Board of Physicians in 2011 suspended Mark Geier’s license. Nationally known for spreading the discredited theory that vaccines cause autism, Geier was treating autistic children with a drug that decreased hormone production. The board alleged he misrepresented his credentials and misdiagnosed youngsters.
But The Washington Post reports that regulators who stripped Geier of his credentials have each been ordered to pay tens of thousands of dollars in damages after a judge found the board abused its power in 2012 when it alleged he improperly prescribed medication for himself, his wife and son while his license was suspended.”

It was about a cease-and-desist order the board posted on its website because Mark Geier had prescribed medicine for himself, his wife, and his son. He had also authorized refills while his license was suspended, which constituted the unauthorized practice of medicine.
A cease-and-desist order that had included the name of the medications.
And although they initially won their lawsuit, it was overturned on appeal.
So it seems that Secretary RFK Jr owes Sen. Maggie Hassan an apology for accusing her of saying “some very defamatory things about a person, who by the way, those charges were Senator… I am going to correct the record on this because you have defamed a person…”
He accused Sen. Maggie Hassan of being “so dishonest,” all the while making up stories about David Geier having his charges of practicing medicine without a license overturned!
Which leaves us with one final question…
When will Secretary RFK Jr correct the record and apologize to Sen. Maggie Hassan?

She deserves more than just an apology. He should be prosecuted for lying during his testimony. Wondering why no one else has explored this. Wasn’t he under oath?
It wasn’t his only lie.
But it seems lying under oath is no longer regarded as problematic.
