It was a school age child who died in Texas last week.
But how about before that?
A lot of folks would have you think that the last measles death before the child in Texas was ten years ago.

No one is reporting or talking about it, but there were five deaths in the United States just last year from acute measles infections and SSPE, a late complication of measles!
And there have been many more measles deaths in the last 10 to 15 years than you have been made to believe.
Are you surprised?
You shouldn’t be.

Given how few cases there are each year, 1,200/year at most in the USA in this century, it seems that the measles strains circulating now is indeed quite deadly to the unvaccinated.
