False or Misleading Vaccine Statements by Secretary RFK Jr
Just as he has always done, since becoming Secretary of HHS, RFK Jr has made quite a few false or misleading statements about vaccines.
To those of us who have been all too aware of RFK Jr over the years, as he essentially took over the modern anti-vaccine movement, none of the statements he has been making are surprising.
It’s the same misinformation and propaganda that he has been spouting for years.

The only thing that’s surprising is to hear this stuff coming from the Secretary of HHS, the person that is essentially in charge of our public health system.
So what has RFK Jr been saying about vaccines?
As the largest measles outbreak in 34 years continues to surge in West Texas, we have heard RFK Jr say things like:
“Every child who gets measles gets a headline. When I was kid, there were 2 million measles cases a year and nobody wrote about them.”
Mennonites have a religious objection to getting vaccinated.
“…the MMR vaccine contains a lot of aborted fetus debris and DNA particles.”
‘‘we don’t know the risks of many of these products because they’re not safety tested’’ - when discussing MMR vaccines
the flu vaccine was loaded with mercury
“a kid today could get twice, almost twice as much thimerosal as children in 2003”
thimerosal in vaccines is a “potent neurotoxin” that is “associated with all kinds of neurological and autoimmune illnesses in kids.”
the MMR is a leaky vaccine
protection from the MMR vaccine vanes, so that most adults are basically unprotected
that the combination MMR vaccine was never really safety tested
that there is some viral interference in the MMR vaccine
the MMR vaccine is linked to adverse effects they didn’t get in the separate vaccines
mumps is a benign disease
vaccines are the only medicine or medical product that is exempt from pre-licensing safety testing
vaccines don’t undergo long-term safety testing
vaccines are not tested using placebos
the CDC did a study on VAERS and it found only 1% of adverse events were reported — the Lazarus study. - Typically called the Harvard Study by anti-vaccine influencers, this is the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc. study that was never completed…
the measles vaccine is killing more children over the long run than measles ever did
COVID vaccines have profound risks for kids
“for respiratory illnesses, the single antigen vaccines have never worked”
there have been “huge associations of myocarditis and pericarditis with strokes with other injuries with neurological injuries” in kids who got a COVID vaccine
“There were actually more deaths — there were about 23% more deaths in the vaccine group than the placebo group” when talking about COVID vaccines
the second unvaccinated child didn’t actually die because of measles
vaccines are only tested for three or four days with no placebo group
children are given 72 vaccines
“97% of the people on” ACIP have conflicts of interest — they don’t
people were only hospitalized for measles to be quarantined and not because they were sick — not true
cod liver oil can treat measles — while cod liver oil contains vitamin A, it is not a treatment for measles
And that’s why there are calls for RFK Jr to go!
He even lied about Casey Means, Trump’s pick for Surgeon General, inflating her credentials by saying she was at the top of her class in medical school and residency class.
“But it would’ve been impossible for Means to be at the top of her class at the Stanford School of Medicine, because students aren’t actually ranked there. A spokesperson from the school told CNN’s Daniel Dale that medical students are graded on a pass-fail system.”
