It’s a mystery…20% of kids need an ER visit after measles (which as we know is supposedly mild, harmless and beneficial for health), but following vaccination with MMR (three diseases at the same time!) the equivalent incidence rate would be about one for every 3000 shots (0.03%, this is for febrile seizures, which is the only serious reaction with a measurable incidence rate).
Can an antivaxer explain this obvious anomaly to me?
My daughter attempted to get an MMR booster at the local drugstore, and the pharmacist just blew her off. Laughed and said the vaccine was only for little kids. He didn’t even ask if she had ever been vaccinated.
